Bees
for sale - Nucleus Honey bee Colonies bred in U.K. are normally
available for collection from us during June to August.
We are still taking orders with payment on a first come first served
basis. All
bees come on a minimum of 5 combs with a locally bred* laying queen.
Colonies are available
on either British National DN4 Deep Frames, 14 x 12
Frames or 17 inch Top Bars. They are supplied in an
appropriate
nucleus hive which is included in the price. Nucleus
colonies on National DN4 frames are also available 'up and running' in
a new, complete,
full size National bee hive so no transferring needed.
(*Beware of nucleus
colonies offered by some sellers with imported queen
bees, they are not a good idea for many reasons.)
With
basic care, bees can be transported long distances safely but carriers
do not take care (it's not fair on the poor bees) so you'll understand
why we only offer bees for collection.
I am a full time professional bee farmer
and
bee breeder (a member of the Bee Farmers' Association of the U.K. -
"the voice of professional beekeeping")
with a long established business, so you can be assured of qualified
advice. All
livestock is disease checked and in accordance with NBU and FERA
guidelines. Terms & Conditions
A 'Gift Voucher' for the bees is available which makes this an unusual
and
original gift idea, just let me know.
Any queries, just email.
