Coverall Bee 'Hoodie' Suit

I use these suits myself everyday and they provide great protection. They are light weight and comfortable and the 'bat-wing' sleeves enable easy movement whilst working. They are designed to be a generous fit so choose the size according to your height.

Extra Large fits up to 6 feet, 6 inches, chest 48 inches

65% cotton 35% polyester.
YKK zips.
Saint Gobain fibre glass mesh.
Removable, easy to unzip hood, much easier to wash than the 'hoop' style veils.
Full length front zip with velcro zip guard.
Elasticated cuffs, waist and thumb loops.
Elasticated ankles and ankle zips.
Top, trouser and hive tool pockets.

Available in White or Camouflage or Floral. Bee suits don't have to be white so why not choose Camouflage or Floral instead of the 'astronaut' or 'chemical disaster' look of white suits, white suits are not white for long!

I don't sell leather gloves because they are a bad idea. Sting pheromone builds up in the leather and is not easily removed. This can provoke a colony before you start. If you want to use gloves, use washing up gloves. They are not totally sting proof but you can often remove bees and sting before they penetrate the glove. They also allow more sensitive handling of the bees, sometimes getting stung at all can be a sign that you are doing it wrong or at the wrong time. Be slow and gentle with your bees and disturb them only when they are having a good, warm flying day. Busy bees are happy bees!
